First of all, you call it break because we're older. I don't why they don't call it playtime, probably because Year 9, 10 and 11's would get embarrassed. And, well, you don't really get free time, I think tutor time is probably the best for doing whatever. And in between lessons you can chat to your mates, but before lessons you have to be qu iet or the teacher simply won't let you in!

You get put in lessons with people to the same ability as you. It all depends in what results you get in your SATS.
in some classes your with your form and other classes your with people from a mixed variety forms but all to the same ability to you.
But in P.E its a bit different for example ....
if your a girl you will get put with girls in a m,ixed variety of forms and same with boys.
Hi im poppycat. You get alot of freedom when you get to Beckfoot. So D.T and Science are ALOT better than at primary school. You get to do experimants and blow things up and alsorts in Science. And in D.T you get to use saws and weird equiptment. So Science and D.T are probably the best lessons. P.E is brill to because if you wern't included when you were in primary then you CERTAINLY will be in Beckfoot. TA!
Hi this is cutekitten
there are lots of great lessons in year 7 such as D.T (design technology) we do three different things in the year one is we make a planner cover, we make a bookshelf holder from wood and we also do food we learn how to cook different foods and have lots of fun doing it. We have maths, French/German, English, science, history,R.E and English literature I like them all. We have learning to learn which you may not have herd of this is a subject we learn with our tutor. Some of my favorite subjects that i really enjoy doing are D.T drama (we have a drama studio for that), maths, art, music ( you can learn any musical instrument you like), ICT and science. So theres lots to chose from and when you come to uper school you should soon find a good subject you like.

Their is only 2 laguages for year 7 and that is french and German we have 2 lessons of this subject a week. Tutor groups 701-705 usually do french and 706-710 do German, In year 8 & 9 you do the same lessons and when you do your GCSE you can have a choice of Carrying on with french or German or you can do Spanish or non of them whatever you want too do.

You do not get too much homework but you do get some
At the beginning of the year you get a homework table & you get up to 4 lots a day or so it says. Not once have i had 4 lots a day and sometimes the teachers give you homework on a different day. Sometimes you get projects for about 2 weeks.
